Job Opening: Laboratory Technician

Join our team as a Laboratory Technician

Location:

Casa Grande, AZ

Pay:

$18.00 per hour

Shift:

1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine tests on asphalt, emulsions, and other construction materials following established procedures.
• Conduct AASHTO, ASTM, and AZDOT or other State Agency tests on construction materials.
• Receive inventory samples, prepare samples for testing, record test results, and maintain lab and testing equipment.
• Clean and organize the lab area.
• Perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to determine test results.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment properly.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Associate degree or 2 years of laboratory experience in asphalt testing

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• May require overnight travel.
• Ability to work independently and multitask with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
