Job Opening: Customer Service Quating
Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Customer Service & Order Coordination • Review customer purchase orders and verify alignment with internal work orders. • Ensure all process requirements and customer specifications are accurately communicated and flowed down. • Monitor the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates meet required delivery dates. • Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status within the required response timeframe. • Communicate with customers regarding missing documentation such as blueprints, drawings, or specifications. • Coordinate with production to obtain estimated completion dates (ECDs). • Develop and maintain daily reports on orders and production status. • Prepare orders for shipment and assist with related documentation as needed. Quoting • Review customer quote requests and prepare accurate, detailed quotes in a timely manner. • Calculate service costs and pricing using standard company criteria and customer requirements. • Maintain accurate paperwork and job files for a smooth transition between departments. • Prepare and distribute invoices upon job completion and clarify any billing questions or discrepancies. • Ensure confidentiality regarding pricing and other business-related information. General • Support cross-department communication to ensure customer needs are met efficiently. • Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned.
