Position Overview

Our team is looking for a Test Technician to join them. To perform electrical tests on Circuit assemblies and electronic chassis assemblies utilizing DIT-MCO testing system, CableScan and Lab View systems. You will report to the Director of Engineering, support Test Engineers and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA. .

As a Test Technician, you will:

• Develop testing procedures and programs
• Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products
• Perform test equipment and fixturing design responsibility
• Perform maintenance resolution on testing procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

To be considered for the Test Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes
• Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Troubleshoot circuit assemblies to component level.
• Required: able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Design electronic test interfaces (Printed Circuit Boards, Cables) for test fixtures and stations
• Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities
• Experience or knowledge of IPC-365 file format.
• Experience or knowledge of NETS and TestRite software.
• Written Communication – Able to read and interpret written information, blue prints, and drawings. Read and write the English language
• Teamwork – Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Supports everyone’s efforts to succeed.
• Quality – Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.

Education: AS degree in electronics or equivalent

Required experience: 2-5 years
