?? Receiving Team Lead – Durham, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Receiving Team Lead to oversee daily receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in shipping and receiving, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage workflow efficiently while ensuring safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities

Lead and support the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound shipments

Verify incoming materials, check documentation, and record receipts in the system

Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move materials safely and efficiently

Utilize MRP/ERP systems to track inventory, update records, and manage material flow

Collaborate with shipping, production, and warehouse teams to maintain efficient operations

Train and mentor team members on receiving procedures and safety standards

Maintain organization and cleanliness in receiving areas

Perform additional duties and assist in other departments as needed

Requirements for Receiving Team Lead:

Previous leadership or supervisory experience required

Experience in shipping and receiving operations
-
Forklift experience – sit-down and stand-up required
-
Experience with MRP/ERP systems (inventory or warehouse management software)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Willingness to work overtime as needed
