Job Title: Deburring Technician
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (preferred hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
Summary
The Deburring Technician is responsible for cleaning, deburring, polishing, and grinding precision metal components to ensure they meet quality standards. This role is key in supporting production flow and maintaining high-quality output within the operations department.
Primary Responsibilities

Perform deburring, grinding, buffing, and polishing of small precision machined components using a variety of hand and power tools.

Utilize abrasive brushes, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to complete finishing operations accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support efficient operations.

Complete finishing department tasks including bead blasting, tumbling, and other surface finishing operations.

Follow detailed product cleaning and finishing procedures, including cleaning interior surfaces of machined holes and components.

Apply abrasive compounds, wax, or other finishing materials as required for polishing or cleaning.

Perform routine maintenance on deburring equipment; troubleshoot issues and report equipment or process problems to the Deburring Lead or Production Manager.

Change tools or attachments on powered equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred:

Minimum 1 year of experience in deburring or precision finishing (microscope experience a plus).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
