Job Opening: Material Handler

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler II to join our team at  a leading provider of HVAC solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience operating a sit-down forklift and will play a key role in handling and organizing materials necessary for our operations. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the warehouse and production areas.

• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper storage and handling of all materials.

• Ensure inventory is organized, properly labeled, and easily accessible for production or shipping needs.

• Conduct routine checks and inspections on forklifts to ensure safe operation.

• Assist in inventory control and tracking of materials, including updating inventory systems.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are prepared and ready for shipment or installation.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team.

Hours:  2nd shift:  Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am.  (Overtime required when needed) 

Pay:  $21.35/hr.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience (required).

• Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or HVAC-related role is preferred.

• Ability to lift items (up to 45 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and forklift operating protocols.
