Schedule-
Monday – Friday (Some Saturdays)
7:30am- 5:30pm
Pay- $22-24/hr Depending upon experience
Parts Representative Job Duties:
• Proactively advise customer on questions about products, prices, availability and product features.
• Locate, obtain and or order part(s) for each sale on accordance with company procedure. • Services customer accounts. Investigates problems, quotes prices and delivery, etc.
• Handles warranty or defective parts for customer in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
• Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
• Replenish assigned inventory daily. Advise Parts Manager when areas of the department are not in satisfactory condition.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Parts Representative Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. to be able to pull and move heavy duty parts.
- Excellent communication skills must dress in professional appearance.
- Good computer, data entry, and Microsoft Word/ Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and filing skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks with varying deadlines
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
- Must be able to bend,twist,stooping, and reaching throughout day.
