ResourceMFG NOW HIRING: Warehouse Associate

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Shift: Monday – Thursday 8a – 4:30p Overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $18.50 an hour

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Associate to support daily operations, including inventory management, customer service, and logistics. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and showroom.Participate in store setup, seasonal displays, and promotional events. Follow all safety protocols and company polices

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Logistics

    • Receive, inspect, tag, and organize incoming furniture and surplus items
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems and asset scanners
    • Schedule and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with clients and internal teams

  • Shipping & Delivery

    • Assist with loading/unloading furniture for deliveries and store transfers
    • Ensure items are properly packaged and secured for transport
    • Communicate delivery schedules and expectations with customers

  • Hi-Lo Operation

    • Operate forklifts (hi-lo) safely and efficiently
    • Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs

  • Customer Service & Sales Support

    • Greet and assist customers in-store with product inquiries and recommendations
    • Support the sales team with floor assistance, pricing, and merchandising
    • Process transactions using Square and complete analog invoices as needed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Prior experience in warehouse, retail, or delivery operations
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a hi-lo certification
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with inventory systems, scanners, and email platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
