Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4 on/4 off, 2nd shift (5PM – 5AM)
Location: Rogers, Minnesota
The Position
Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position oversees all physical aspects of production equipment and performs various tasks required by other departments to achieve higher quality, productivity, and improved safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement preventative maintenance programs for production machinery and equipment as directed.

Identify and analyze equipment or machinery failures and take corrective action.

Ensure all facility equipment and machines are maintained properly and operational.

Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrically controlled systems.

Become proficient in all areas of the production line.

Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as necessary.

Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.

Make necessary modifications and implement test runs.

Prepare reports documenting work performed, including records of damaged, worn, or broken parts.

Support the development of internal SOPs, manuals, and guides for other departments on equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree from a vocational or community college in electrical, mechanical, or related field, or equivalent education and experience (preferred 3 years’ experience).

Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance.

Ability to understand, operate, and maintain production systems and equipment.

Proficiency in performing and analyzing system checks.
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance staff.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
-
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to see color-coded wiring.
-
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
