?? Rate of Pay: $17/hour
? Duration: 6–8 weeks
?? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technicians to join our team for a short-term assignment. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. Prior experience in sanitation, manufacturing, GMP facilities, or food service/cleaning is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, surfaces, and rooms according to established schedules and procedures.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed for thorough cleaning.
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents per SDS guidelines.
Perform both deep cleans and routine cleaning in production, packaging, and warehouse areas.
Follow GMP, SOP, FDA/USDA, and company sanitation procedures.
Complete sanitation logs, checklists, and other documentation accurately.
Ensure areas meet hygiene standards for internal and external inspections.
Assist with changeovers and cleaning between product batches to prevent cross-contamination.
Coordinate cleaning with production teams to reduce downtime.
Wear appropriate PPE during all sanitation operations.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Safely collect and dispose of waste and recyclables per company policy.
Report safety hazards, spills, or non-compliance issues immediately.
Help maintain a safe, orderly, and clutter-free environment throughout the facility.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous sanitation, manufacturing, GMP, or food service/cleaning experience strongly preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and PPE.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shift.
