Job Title: Sheet Metal Programming

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $24.00 – $35.00/HR

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Mandatory Overtime May Apply) – Flexible

The Machine Operator II will be responsible for programming and operating sheet metal fabrication machines used to cut, bend, and form parts according to precise specifications. This role involves creating programs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and operate sheet metal machinery, including punch presses and press brakes.

  • Translate design specifications into machine-readable programs using CAD/CAM software.

  • Produce parts according to customer and production requirements using 14–20 gauge sheet metal.

  • Maintain quality standards by performing inspections and measurements throughout production.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas.

  • Optimize machine utilization and ensure adherence to production schedules.

  • Support and enforce safety protocols and procedures at all times.

  • Serve as both programmer and operator within the fabrication process.
