Job Opening: Material Handler
Description
- Material Handler
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to use basic software and computing tools.
- Inventory experience strongly preferred, loading/unloading
- Material handling
- Maintains cleanliness of Warehouse and Production rooms by performing tasks including, but not limited to, emptying daily production trash, managing pallet removal, disposing of production cardboard and making cardboard bails using Bailer Machine as needed.
- Empties all daily production trash, manage all production cardboard, and make cardboard bails as needed.
- Transports finished goods from Labeler areas and Storage File Box areas to Warehouse for shipping. Rotates/stages Storage File Box components in Warehouse.
- Completes Inventory Cycle Counts as requested.
- Ensures all materials are stored in the proper storage conditions at the end of each day.
- Follows all policies and procedures as required for tasks and activities. Operates all Warehouse equipment and tools in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Participates in the Daily Stand-up Production Meeting.
- Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
- Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Handles various other duties as delegated by manager.
