Position: Mechanical Technician Starting Pay Rate: $33 per hour Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Employment Type: Temp to Hire (based on performance and attendance)
Duties Include
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs
- Performs set ups and preventative maintenance on liquid filling equipment.
- Maintains, repairs and installs improvements for plants pneumatic system, tanks and plant plumbing.
- Clears and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
- Replaces or repairs machine belts.
- Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.
- Cuts out and joins (welds or solders) parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other equipment.
- Rebuild and fabricate parts.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- 2 -3 year of related experience in process-oriented fluid manufacturing, warehouse/shipping operations and/or related industry
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Machine Mechanical repair
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Good work attitude and team player
