Job Title: Waterjet Operator

Location: Claremore, OK
Employment Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift

Pay: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waterjet Operator to join our manufacturing team in Claremore, OK. The ideal candidate will operate CNC waterjet cutting machines to produce precision parts from various materials including metal, plastic, and composites. This 2nd shift position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines according to job specifications and blueprints
• Load and secure materials onto the cutting bed
• Select appropriate cutting tools, nozzles, and abrasives
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of waterjet equipment
• Troubleshoot machine issues and report major problems
• Maintain accurate production records and logs
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating CNC waterjet machines
• Strong understanding of machine setup, operation, and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., FlowPath, OMAX Layout, or similar) is a plus
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Forklift certification is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other CNC machinery (plasma, laser, mill, etc.)
• Knowledge of different materials and their cutting properties
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
