We’re looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic Assistant to help keep our fleet running smoothly and safely—while also supporting the Maintenance Manager with critical day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks and administrative support

• Verify that maintenance operations are conducted safely and according to procedures

• Monitor workflow and report any issues or concerns to the manager

• Maintain accurate records and documentation as needed

• Support scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities across branches

• Be available on-call 24/7 on a rotating basis to assist with urgent needs

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

• Assist lead mechanics in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations

• Maintain tools and shop equipment in clean and working condition

• Help with vehicle inspections and documentation

• Ensure safety procedures are followed in all repair operations
