ResourceMfG has a GREAT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A GRAPHIC DESIGNER.
As a Print & Digital Graphic Designer, the day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional concepts and design solutions that support the Talent Development and Human Resources initiatives. One of the key aspects of the role is a balanced and thorough understanding of the business and objective of each project in order to create simple to understand, impactful and well-defined designs that meet the needs of all users, contributors and stakeholders.
Major Accountabilities:
- Establish the brand identity for materials that include but are not limited to participant’s guides, presentations, job aids, event collateral (i.e. banners, posters, cards) and various types of communications
- Work within process standards to create layouts that reinforce a training program’s style or voice through its visual touch-points
- Maintains the graphic standards of the company logo and branding materials
- Collaborate with clients for idea generation and conceptual design solutions
- Generate innovative logos, icons and info-graphics
- Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes and/or mock ups
- Closely collaborate with Human Resources, Instructional Design group and business teams to solve complex issues, such as and data visualizations
- Create and organize production assets while adhering to all internal standards and processes
- Understand the various specifications for social platforms and execute deliverables within those constraints
- Ability to be fluid and adaptable when working on multiple projects to ensure project timelines are met
Shift: Monday – Friday. 8am-5pm.
Pay: $35 hourly
Duration: 6 month with extension potential
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (required):
- A solid foundation in typography, layout and design
- Expert in the use of design and development technology; Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Proficient Proficient in the use of using primary Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Basic skills in additional Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Visio, and Access)
- Ability to work on a project team, collaborate with others and autonomously
- Ability to accomplish work within required timelines, including short, long, and emergency timeframes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide solutions
- Experience with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction
- Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation skills
- Proficient in Project Management skills to include organization, the ability to prioritize tasks, track/communicate progress and meet deadlines
- Proficient understanding of post-production print materials and setup
