Job Title: Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift Pay Range: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:15 PM Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that outside services, raw materials, machined components, and documentation conform to established specifications and regulatory requirements. This role requires the use of precision measuring tools, interpretation of blueprints, and operation of inspection equipment to maintain product quality, compliance, and traceability. Key Responsibilities Review blueprints, sketches, drawings, customer specifications, and models to perform inspections. Set up and operate inspection equipment, including CMM, Vision Systems, and Smartscope. Determine programming and setup requirements, including holding fixtures. Accurately complete job documentation, including travelers, inspection reports, and nonconformance logs. Record time and data in computer systems for traceability. Follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) in support of the Quality Management System. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to company attendance, safety, and confidentiality policies. Skills & Competencies Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Proficient with precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Experience operating CMMs and automated inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail with accurate and compliant record-keeping. Effective communicator and problem solver, with a team-oriented mindset. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing inspection role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
