Job Title: Plater Helper

Schedule: 1st & 2nd shift 
Pay Rate: $18.99-$23.65 DOE 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Chemical Processing Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, cleaning, and drying production parts from various product lines. You will help maintain proper cleaning and chemical solutions, transport parts between departments, and operate equipment to support chemical processing operations. Training will be provided, and this position offers an excellent opportunity to build skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read and follow job orders or written instructions to identify materials and processes.

• Perform cleaning and surface preparation of parts for machining or finishing.

• Maintain fluid levels for chemical plating, lubrication, and cleaning baths; make chemical adjustments as needed.

• Operate auxiliary equipment including overhead crane, parts washer, tumble barrel, salt cleaner, and centrifugal dryer.

• Perform routine maintenance and daily cleaning of equipment and work area.

• Learn proper waste stream handling and compliance requirements.

• Safely transport parts and maintain organized, clean loading areas.

• Work collaboratively with team members on process improvements, productivity, and quality goals.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and assist other team members when needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not required (training provided).

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.

• Ability to lift, move, and transport parts as needed.

• Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.
