Job Opening: Production Associate

ResourceMFG is Hiring!  Production Associates in Burgettstown, PA!

$13.00| Monday – Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Food Processing & Packaging Associate to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling, processing, and packaging food and herbal products in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, move, assemble, process, and package food and herbal products according to SOPs and GMPs.

• Work safely with products that may contain food allergens.

• Package products following established quality and safety standards.

• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of workspace at all times.

• Perform start-up and shutdown of production equipment.

• Conduct scheduled sanitation procedures on equipment and work areas.

• Follow production schedules, running orders, and formulas.

• Scale, stage, and mix ingredients according to SOPs.

• Monitor and conduct in-process and finished product testing to ensure quality standards are met.

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food processing, manufacturing, or packaging preferred.

• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety procedures a plus.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work with food allergens.

• Basic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients.

• Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
