Job Opening: Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Job Title: Machine Operator – Plastic Recycling Plant (2nd Shift) Location: Rogers, MN Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Pay Rate: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour DOE

Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our plastic recycling facility that produces high-quality pellets used in plastic injection molding. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining advanced PLC/CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience in the plastics or food industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced PLC and CNC-controlled equipment including extruder machines, shredder machines, and wash line machines.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist with boiler operations (boiler certification preferred but not required).
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating and maintaining PLC/CNC machines, preferably in plastics or food manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM).
• Boiler certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
