Job Opening: Press Operator 2 – Flexographic Press

Press Operator 2 – Flexographic Press (12-Hour Rotating Day Shift)
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Pay Range: $25.49 – $40.31 per hour (DOE)

This position will begin on either 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and will transition to a 12-hour rotating day shift:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Starting pay is $23.00/hr for entry-level operators, with significantly higher rates available for experienced candidates—up to $37.00/hr depending on background and skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain various flexographic press equipment

• Perform all make-ready tasks:

  • Hanging plates or installing cylinders

  • Checking image alignment, tension, register

  • Prepping blankets and inspecting plates/cylinders for defects

• Make precise color corrections and press adjustments for production

• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and minor mechanical repairs

• Carry out manufacturer-recommended maintenance routines

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5 years of hands-on Flexographic Press experience

• Proven experience operating equipment such as Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, or similar

• Ability to step into the role with minimal training and immediately contribute to production goals

• Strong understanding of printing procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations

• Competence in reading job specs, selecting materials, and optimizing press settings

• Skilled in using micrometers and precision tools for plate mounting and alignment
