Diesel Mechanic

Direct Hire $30-$38 DOE

1st shift 

Requirements:

• 3 plus years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy truck technician
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and diesel engine repair
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must have own tools
• Must have valid drivers license; CDL preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers.

Conduct routine inspections & preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime

Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake, and transmission systems.

Documents repairs and maintain maintenance logs in compliance with DOT regulations

Assist with Emergency roadside repairs when needed

Collaborate with dispatch & operations teams to prioritize urgent vehicle issues
