Job Opening: Office Assistant
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our Fleet and Asset Manager. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between customers, mechanics, and sales staff to ensure the timely and efficient rental and sale of equipment. You’ll also help maintain accurate service records and make sure equipment is rent-ready.
Key Responsibilities:

Open and close work orders across multiple locations

Enter equipment hours and service data into BasePlan

Manage and update backlog notes

Cross-train in parts ordering processes

File machine check sheets in appropriate equipment folders

Input chargebacks on contracts in BasePlan

Create and process purchase orders

Create and enter service kits into software
-
Drive company vehicle to deliver/pick up parts as needed
Hours: 7 am – 4 pm
Location: Sylmar
Pay $21 can vary on experience

1+ year experience with computers and data entry

1+ year purchasing or administrative experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with BasePlan preferred

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
