Machinist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Machinist to join our account’s team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality powder metallurgy components.

1st shift $17-$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain various machines used in the powder metallurgy process.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise production.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Monitor the production process, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting, preferably in powder metallurgy.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
