3rd Shift Quality Inspector needed
11pm-730am, train on 1st shift
$19-21 depending on Experience
SUMMARY
Performs inspection of parts and related functions of in-process plastic injection molding operations to ensure conformance to Company standards and customer specifications. Develops, documents and implements improved inspection methods depending on quality needs. This is a skilled quality position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops inspection procedures to improve quality control at the molding machine level;
Works from complicated instructions, both verbal and written;
Performs defect root cause analysis and prepares CAPA reports per customer guidelines;
Conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspections per established procedures;
Compiles data and generates a variety of inspection reports such as Non-Conforming Materials Reports (NCMR), Returned Material Authorization (RMA), inspection logs, Line Clearance forms, and attribute data;
Measures and inspects parts using precision gages, meters, and instruments; Reads complicated blueprints and design drawings to determine part specifications;
Works with the engineering team to develop in-process gaging methods to improve quality checks at the molding machine level.
Demonstrated knowledge of production processes and procedures;
Knowledge and understanding of various quality inspection techniques and methods;
Demonstrated skill in reading complicated blueprints and drawings of production parts; Demonstrated effective organizational and communication skills, both oral and written;
Ability and willingness to work hours outside of the normally scheduled work-week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays;
Ability and willingness to use microscopes and other visual inspection tools; Skill in the use and operation of ad
