Job Opening: Machine Operator-Cutter

We are looking for an experienced machine operator for the Kinston area.  This is an overnight shift 7pm to 7am, working a 2-2-3 schedule.

Perform production changes and run short cut oven lines. Ensure machine settings are correct and obtain samples per Manufacturing Orders and Operating Instructions to produce a good quality product. Maximize tow denier to achieve daily production goals.

Complete daily documents at the beginning and end of shift.

Input data into the computer system to identify all bins and boxes

Ensure machine is running properly

Check bands to make sure they are strung correctly

Follow procedures to maintain quality

Perform daily housekeeping duties

Keep waste segregated and in properly identified containers

Inspect each crimper box prior to use and remove any type of contamination

A great work ethic, dependability and attendance is essential to be successful in this position

Be a team player and be motivated.

Able to lift to 45 pounds while climbing stairs.

Must be able to follow instructions

Have the ability to solve basic mathematical problems

Steel toe shoes are required
