Job Opening: Logistics Generalist

New Job Opening! We are hiring an Automotive Logistic Generalist in Huntsville, AL! 

We are looking for an Logistics leader who has experience working in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment. 

1st Shift from 7am to 3:30pm. Must be able to work  overtime!

Starting Pay:  $18-$19 per hour (Pay adjustment if permanently hired) 

Bonus: $1 extra per hour with perfect attendance!

Referral Bonus after 2 weeks on the job!

Job duties and Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Ability to efficiently manage stock levels and ensure optimal inventory control.
• Material Handling Equipment: Familiar with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers and shipping processes.  
• Supply Chain Coordination: Strong skills in coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to maintain a smooth flow of goods.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to address and resolve logistical challenges, such as delays or shortages, in real-time. Really analyzing the process.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools for tracking, reporting, and managing logistics operations.
• Data Analysis: Skill in analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and make data-driven decisions. 

Experienced in Microsoft word and excel.

 Job Requirements

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Certifications: Certifications in logistics or supply chain management is beneficial but not required.
