Now Hiring Embroidery Machine Operator in Bloomington
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm
Payrate: $19
Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-head embroidery machines (e.g., Tajima, ZSK, etc.) efficiently and accurately.
- Set up embroidery jobs including hooping garments, loading threads, and aligning designs.
- Read and interpret work orders, design files (DST, EMB), and thread charts.
- Monitor machines during operation to detect defects or issues and make real-time adjustments.
- Perform basic machine maintenance including threading, oiling, and cleaning.
- Trim threads, inspect finished pieces, and ensure all embroidery meets quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of jobs completed and report production issues or delays.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the embroidery workspace.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating commercial embroidery machines (multi-head preferred).
- Ability to hoop garments properly and consistently for different fabric types.
- Knowledge of embroidery threads, stabilizers, and backing materials preferred.
- Sewing experience preferred (either hobby or commercial)
- Basic understanding of embroidery software (Wilcom, Pulse, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with machine troubleshooting and light repair.
- Familiarity with custom apparel workflow or production environments.
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple jobs under tight deadlines.
