General Laborer / Shop Hand – 1st Shift

Location: Almont

 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Status: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: weekly pay $16-17

We’re looking for a motivated General Laborer / Shop Hand to join our team! This is a hands-on role assisting with assembly and warehouse operations in a shop setting. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and is looking for a long-term opportunity.

Key Duties

• Use hand tools to assist in basic assembly tasks

• Disconnect and remove hoses and components as directed

• Support day-to-day warehouse duties: organizing inventory, general cleanup, and staging materials

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace

• Stand for long periods and lift heavy items as part of regular responsibilities

Requirements

• Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transit access to site)

• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment throughout the shift

• Able to stand and stay active for extended periods

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Shop or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
