A large formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking Slab Operators to join their team.

Job duties consist of the following:

Responsible for operating product slab and extruder machinery, ensures product meets customer specifications.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Understand product specifications: weight, length, height and width.
• Makes needed adjustment to equipment to ensure specifications.
• Responsible for completing the finished bar weight control chart on a daily basis.
• Signs-off appropriate documentation.
• Ensures that lines are in working order at start-up/change overs.
• Maintain working area in a clean and clear manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

3:15AM- 3:30PM – 12-hour shift with rotating work week schedule (consist of working both Saturday & Sunday and rotating weekends)

Example: Work Monday, Off Tuesday & Wednesday, Work Thursday & Friday. Next week you will be working on your days off from prior week.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Make minor adjustments to equipment with tools.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• Previous working knowledge of GMP'S
• Basic math for specifications and control charts.
