Pipe Welder/Pipe Fitter needed immediately!

Job Summary:

Pipe welder

Proficient in welding techniques.

Pipe Fitter

Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Pay: $25 – $31 an hour based on experience.

Shift: 1st shift – 6am – 4:30pm (flexible to 12-hour shifts / Saturdays required) 2nd shift – 4:30 pm – 2:30 am (flexible to 12-hour shifts/Saturdays required)

Duties:

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques

• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbols

• Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials

• Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

• Convention and precision measuring instruments

• Process inspection, certification, and documentation

• Welding equipment maintenance and inspection

• Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools

• Safety and housekeeping

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ year experience working within a manufacturing environment/facility

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to stand for 8–10-hour shifts

• Resume required
