Job Title: Shipping Associate – Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: Monday -Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am
Pay Rate: 19.44

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and shipping sheet metal products safely and accurately while following strict quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

Package, crate, and secure sheet metal parts and products for outgoing shipments
Inspect finished products to ensure they are free from defects, damage, or sharp edges before shipping
Generate and manage shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation
Verify shipment contents against orders to ensure accuracy in quantity, size, and type of materials
Maintain detailed records of all outgoing shipments and delivery confirmations
Follow safety protocols when handling sheet metal products and moving heavy loads
Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA and company standards
Collaborate closely with production and inventory teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, or manufacturing (sheet metal industry preferred)
Ability to safely handle heavy and sharp-edged sheet metal materials
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for shipping software and documentation
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
