Essential Functions Statement(s) • Create monthly lab orders for physical testing Scribe / create metal specimens for testing Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure they are performed within the required time frame. Perform both analytical and physical tests to include but not limited to, corrosion testing, paint adhesion, powder test, plating adhesion, abrasion resistance, coating weight tests, cleaner weight loss, intragranular attack & end-grain pitting, metal removal tests, hydrogen embrittlement tensile tests, impact tests, hydrogen pick-up, Atomic Absorption elemental analysis, potentiometric titrations, acid-base titrations, gravimetric analysis, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer operation and testing, pH analysis, conductivity, and resistivity testing. Create test reports to outline the testing procedures and results of internally performed tests. Perform clerical duties to file lab orders, test certs, chemical certificates of analysis, metal specimen certificate of analysis, purchase orders, etc. Review testing records / logs for accuracy of results and to ensure results are within shop control and specification limits. Review and monitor tank temperature recording program to ensure solution temperatures of process tanks stay within customer required ranges. Tag out process tanks when needed due to out of range concentrations, temperatures, etc. o Forklift experience o Excel experience o Any chemical knowledge or chemistry experience o Can lift over 50 lbs o Experience using lab equipment (I.e., pH probe, temperature gauge, hot plate) o Refers to safety in anyway o Soft Skills o Muti-tasking o Attention to detail o Communication o Team collaboration o Quick Learner

Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and scribe/create metal specimens for testing.

Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure timely completion.

Perform a variety of analytical and physical tests, including but not limited to corrosion testing, paint adhesion, powder testing, plating adhesion, abrasion resistance, coating weight analysis, cleaner weight loss, intragranular attack & end-grain pitting, metal removal, hydrogen embrittlement tensile tests, impact testing, hydrogen pick-up, Atomic Absorption elemental analysis, potentiometric and acid-base titrations, gravimetric analysis, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, pH analysis, conductivity, and resistivity testing.

Generate detailed test reports outlining procedures and results of internally performed tests.

Complete clerical tasks, including filing lab orders, test certifications, chemical certificates of analysis, metal specimen certificates of analysis, and purchase orders.

Review testing records/logs for accuracy and ensure results meet shop control and specification limits.

Monitor tank temperature recording programs to maintain customer-required solution temperatures in process tanks.

Tag out process tanks when concentrations or temperatures are out of range.
Qualifications & Experience:

Forklift operation experience.

Proficiency in Excel.

Chemical knowledge or chemistry-related experience preferred.

Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Experience with laboratory equipment such as pH probes, temperature gauges, and hot plates.
