Job Overview:
The Warehouse Worker will support manufacturing operations by maintaining parts inventories, delivering material to areas within the shop, and maintaining stock documentation / shortage reports as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In the role of a Warehouse Worker, you will:
- Coordinating Hotshots, company delivery drivers, and freight trucks
- Count, weigh, and record number of units of material moved or handled on daily production
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials / containers
- Load products onto freight carrier vehicles
- Lift heavy objects using forklift, crane, hoist, or by hand within acceptable weight limitations
- Pull, pack, and ship orders
- Maintain cycle counts as requested by supervisor
- Locate material and expedite part shortages within the warehouse
- Use small hand tools and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, cranes, and hand trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse (sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and other duties)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED from accredited school or institution
- Minimum 3 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
Eligibility Requirements:
- Lift up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis
- Work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment where noise, dust, and chemicals are present
- Use safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs
- Perform sedentary work with frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending, and other physical activities
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience with Computer, Excel, SAP is a plus
- Experience operating a forklift, hand truck, and other equipment specific to duties in a shipping department
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability and willingness to use a computer to look up information or enter in material / parts on a daily basis.
