CNC Machinist – Join Our Team!

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to manufacture precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Load raw materials and verify machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machining processes, making necessary adjustments for accuracy and quality.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve machining processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with safety protocols.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (technical training or certification in machining preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and editing is a plus.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience working with ISO or AS9100 quality systems.
• Familiarity with multi-axis machines or CNC Swiss machines.
• Knowledge of tooling setup and offsets
