Aerospace company seeking Final Inspector: Essential Functions Statement(s) Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators Conduct internal audits as required Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system Perform other tasks as assigned
Final Inspector – Aerospace Industry
An established aerospace company is seeking a Final Inspector to join our team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in aircraft parts inspection and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities:

Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.

Read and interpret planning documents, tool designs, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to maintain accurate inspection records.

Calibrate inspection tools and equipment before use.

Collaborate with various departments to address quality-related issues.

Assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.

Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and submit them to QA administrators.

Conduct internal audits as required.

Suggest and implement improvements for continuous enhancement of the quality management system.

Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in aerospace inspection or quality control.

Strong understanding of blueprint reading and quality inspection procedures.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience with internal auditing and process improvement is a plus.
