$20 per hour

Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our account’s warehouse team at our packaging company in Brighton. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
Inspect and maintain forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with inventory management by accurately recording and tracking materials.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator experience
Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
Ability to pass an on-site forklift test on the first day.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
