Job Opening: Quality Control

We are seeking a qualified candidate for Quality Control Inspector for a Great client in Claremore!    Must have the required documentation of  ASNT NDT Level 2 Certificate in UT methods.

Pay: $25-30/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the QC Supervisor/Manager to determine the specific requirements of a given work order
• Provide guidance and training to existing and new hired inspectors.
• Interpreting blueprints and execute dimensional, visual and NDT inspections using different gages and/or inspection equipment.
• Monitor the mechanical and electrical condition of the equipment and reporting operational or maintenance problems to supervision.
• Supervise multiple quality processes throughout the plant.
• Recommends changes to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Verify calibrations of all inspection equipment as required by AWS, customer specifications and internal procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work.
• Team player willing to work with QC/Production personnel, office personnel, field staff, auditors, visitors, etc.

Skills Required:

• Ability to read shop fabrication drawings and interpret weld symbols.
• Ability to train inspection personnel.
• Possess at a minimum ASNT NDT Level 2 Certificates in UT methods.
• AWS CWI certification preferred
