Job Opening: Routing Specialist

ResourceMFG is looking for Routing Specialist at our premiere Smyrna, TN client.

The compensation for this role is $20/hr

Shift hours for Routing Specialist: 

• 1st shift: Monday thru Friday; 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Duties for Routing Specialist:

• Take ownership and manage use of all vendor routing portals and practices.
• Review and monitor vendor portals and customer reporting for open orders to action. 
• Manages all aspects of routing orders in accordance with time obligations and compliance to effectively meet customer/vendor expectations.
• Active communication with internal customer representative to assure they can convey accurate and up to date information on vendor related shipments: shipping, tracking, etc. Schedule orders for pick-ups with carriers per the requirements and confirmations provided by vendor routing portals and/or vendor requirements identified by route documentation. Maintain and update pickup and shipping log as well as pickup board in the warehouse to assure visibility of all outbound routed shipments.
• Ability to present up to date information to management a ship and scheduled list via reports and/or meeting daily. Contributes to building a team spirit by supporting all staff members and co-workers.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements for the Routing Specialist Job:· Strong time management and ability to multitask.

· Experience with multiple vendor routing portals.
· PC literate with experience 
· Excellent communication skills.
· Proficient in data entry.
· Preferred 1 year experience as a Router in a 3PL environment.
· High School diploma or GED equivalency.
