CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking skilled CNC Lathe Operators for our factory in Swartz Creek, Michigan. This is a contract-to-hire position offering competitive pay and excellent benefits upon permanent hire.

Position Details:

Shift: 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Pay: $20-23 per hour, based on experience

Benefits upon hire: Profit sharing, 401(k), and employer-sponsored benefits

Interview: Onsite interview required

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines according to blueprints and technical specifications.

Accurately read decimals and understand blueprints to ensure precise manufacturing processes.

Utilize basic tools, including micrometers and calipers, to measure and verify workpieces.

Conduct quality inspections to meet production standards and requirements.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC Lathe machines.

Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating CNC Lathe machines.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and decimals fluently.

Skilled in using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.
