Pay: $26.00/hr

Reports To: Plant Manager
Supervises: 6–7 Team Members
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Machine Operator to Supervise our 2nd shift team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed production machinery while leading and mentoring a team of 6–7 operators. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production processes, helping drive performance and product quality on the floor.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate machines at the start of the shift to prepare for production

Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed (e.g., speed, temperature, feed)

Load raw materials and monitor part flow through semi-automated equipment

Perform regular inspections using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment or production issues during the shift

Maintain detailed logs of production output, quality checks, and equipment performance

Supervise team members to ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are met

Train and support new operators, providing leadership and guidance throughout the shift

Enforce safety protocols and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills

Proven hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting high-speed machinery

Familiarity with production workflows and safety procedures

Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Comfortable using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers

Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55lbs
-
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school education is a plus

Experience Requirements

3–4 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds

PPE such as gloves and safety glasses must be worn when handling tools or materials
