Job Opening: Machine Operator

Employbridge is now hiring ADVANCED MACHINE OPERATORS in Oak Park, MI!

Available Shifts:

• 2p-10p (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)
• 10p-6a (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate the bar marking, bar cleaning and bar chamfering machines
• Keeps staging area filled
• Follows all written procedures

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current ability to set up or operate BLM tubing cutting with Siemens CNC 8400D Controller or similar cutting Cell (Hautau Tube Cutting Machine)- preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years warehouse or manufacturing experience- preferred
• Certifications for hi-lo or overhead cranes- preferred
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other related measurement equipment
• Computer literacy necessary
• Previous machine operator experience running shears, band saw, cold saw operation or tube cutting machines a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb or stoop
• Ability to keep up with production pace for entire 8 hour shift
• Experience in high volume work environment a plus
