Job Opening: Electrical Technician

Shift: 1st Shift (Thursday-Saturday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $25.50/hour (Rate subject to discussion during interview)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety codes. This role involves wiring, conduit installation, panel mounting, labeling, and termination work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring systems for switchgears, UPS systems, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets, and transformers.
• Install conduits, electrical wires, and cables, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
• Set up ladder and basket cable trays.
• Install circuit breakers, electrical hardware, and connect wiring.
• Run power feeders to equipment and install branch circuits.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper installation per regulations.
• Work with low voltage and control wiring.
• Terminate power feeders, branch circuits, and control wiring (compression lugs).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and NEC codes.
• Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (test meters).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Electrician’s license preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits and trays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
