Job Opening: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description $17- 22.00 pay range

• Ensures motors and router are in agreement along with the motor tag part number/customer number being in agreement with Eaton work order • Makes certain that all uncoated surfaces are free from contamination i.e. rust and over spray on shaft, castle nut, bearing housings and pilot shaft • Inspects entire motor, no substrate shall be visually detected on painted surfaces, all paint shall be smooth and continuous in appearance • Checks all motor tags for damage and ensures no substrate can be seen around the perimeter of the tag • Applies rust preventative liberally to all unpainted surfaces • Follows directive of Quality Supervisor to pack out motors by using two hands and gently laying them into shipping box • Reports any non-conform parts to Quality Supervisor • Performs other duties as assigned by Quality Supervisor/Manager or Plant Manager
