Job Title: Fabricator / Welder
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour – $23.00/hr
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator with experience in laser cutting and welding. This full-time role involves working with sheet metal and structural components using laser cutting equipment, fabrication tools, and welding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce metal components to spec

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on a variety of metal types and thicknesses

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications

• Fabricate, assemble, and finish metal parts using cutting, grinding, and bending tools

• Inspect final parts and welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards

• Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance

• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in metal fabrication, including laser cutter operation and welding

• Skilled in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools

• Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum

• Familiarity with CNC laser systems (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic) is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
