Now Hiring for Welder Fabricator I in Newport, MN

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Payrate: $24.00 – 29.00

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILIES

Welding Fabrication

· Perform TIG welding techniques on different materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

· Fabricate metal components and assemblies by cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts according to specifications

· Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner

Blueprint Interpretation

· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine precise specifications for welding and fabrication tasks

· using measuring tools and gauges to ensure accuracy adherence to design requirements

Quality and Collaboration

· Inspect finished components for compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

· Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain welding parameters and ensure high-quality welds.

· Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure that custom projects are completed to client specifications and within project timelines.

· Provide input on design improvements and suggest solutions to fabrication challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Associates degree in related field and 1 year experience or 5 years experience in lieu of education

· Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

· Experience with metal working tools and equipment

· Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work well with others

· Technical degree in welding fabrication preferred

· Experience in a custom manufacturing site preferred

· Experience in TIG welding
