Shift : Mon-Fri 8:00Am – 5:00PM

Payrate : $24.00 – 29.00

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILIES 

· Follow all company safety policy and procedures

· Assist and perform multiple machine startup and shutdown procedures on Ermaksan press brake

· Prepare and assist complex bend setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die change out in combination with required tooling.

· Support programming using all features of the press brake software.

· Read and understand shop drawings and translate flat pattern sheet metal parts into fully formed parts.

· Meet important deadlines on each project and/or part

· Perform operator level maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.

· Assist in work-order paper flow in accordance with Company Standards.

· Check parts to ensure they are within tolerance and Company Standards.

· Identify areas for process improvement

· Ability to be cross trained on all press brake machines

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School, GED, or equivalent diploma or education completed

· 1 year of related press brake experience

· Ability to reading blueprints and interpreting them

· Understanding of machine mechanics and ability to perform multiple precise set ups and adjustments per day

· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to address issues effectively

· One year working in a custom fabrication site preferred

Other Responsibilities :

· Other duties as assigned

· Lifting weight requirements: 15-50lbs
