As an Adjuster, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing merchandise, grocery, and sack paper bag machines. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you’ll ensure top-tier product quality, meet or exceed production goals, and uphold safety standards—all while keeping operations running smoothly.

Adjuster Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with all levels of internal and external customers
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, PPE requirements, and quality standards

Adjuster Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe machine operation and enforce all safety protocols, including lockout/tag-out procedures and PPE compliance
• Conduct quality checks on bags, perform roll-change evaluations, and complete required documentation
• Set up, adjust, and repair machines to enhance production efficiency, minimize downtime, and improve durability
• Oversee employee breaks and provide relief scheduling as needed
• Monitor machine speed performance, making necessary adjustments to meet or exceed production targets
• Communicate shift-change details effectively with incoming adjusters
• Maintain daily housekeeping standards and submit accurate production reports
• Collaborate with supervisors and trainers to identify and address training needs
• Strive to achieve company goals in safety, quality, production waste, and housekeeping
