Electrical and Mechanical Assembler Needed

Job Summary: Position requires assembly of all electrical and mechanical components as needed

Pay: $18 – $25 DOE

Shift: 1st shift 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (10-hour shifts/ Mon-Sat required)

Shift: 2nd shift 4pm – 2:30am (10-hour shifts Mon-Sat) shift differential

Duties:

• Perform manual processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand, electric and pneumatic tooling

• Reports defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision

• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements:

• Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, interpretation of visual aids and ability to perform simple shop math

• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal is required

• Competency in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics or other technical documents

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to stand for 8–10-hour shifts
