CNC Lathe Machinist needed in East Houston / 2nd Shift

This is a 2nd shift CNC Machinist Position. Looking for someone with 5 or more years of experience running large parts. Must have the Ability to setup and edit at the machine. Need to have knowledge of reading, understanding and troubleshooting CNC programs and component drawings. Experience in cutting tool selection and problem solving when production issues arise.

This is an overnight position from 6pm-6am, pay will be from $27-32 per hour.

Experience:

• Working with Steady Rest on Support
• 20 in – 70 in Chuck knowledge
• Working with full jaw chuck
• Machining very large parts

Desirable:

• Experience in cutting internal and external threads, dovetail and API ring grooves
• Experience machining Oil & Gas components with Inconel 625 clad material
• Experience using Fanuc controls
• Ability to analyze machining operations and offer suggestions on improvement
• Experience working in an environment using large overhead cranes
